Calculate your monthly take-home pay
How to estimate take-home salary in the Philippines
Start with monthly basic salary and any taxable monthly allowances or other taxable compensation. The calculator then estimates statutory employee contributions and withholding tax before showing an estimated net or take-home amount.
For the most useful comparison, use the same assumptions when checking two job offers. A higher gross salary does not always produce the same percentage increase in take-home pay because contributions and tax can change as compensation changes.

Worked example: ₱30,000 monthly basic salary
With no allowances, other income or MWE selection, this calculator assigns ₱30,000 to the SSS salary-credit bracket. The employee SSS estimate is ₱1,500, PhilHealth is ₱750 and Pag-IBIG is ₱200. Estimated taxable compensation is ₱27,550. Under the monthly withholding table in the code, tax is ₱1,007.55 and estimated take-home pay is ₱26,542.45. Enter ₱30,000 above to compare the live result; these numbers change when the rules or code are updated.
Monthly estimate versus a semi-monthly payslip
This page estimates a full month. An employer paying twice monthly may allocate contributions and withholding across cutoffs. Compare the combined month, the same taxable income and the same deductions before concluding there is a discrepancy.
What the form cannot know
It treats entered allowances and other income as taxable, and does not classify de minimis benefits, bonuses, loans, salary advances, private insurance, absences or individual tax adjustments. Check the SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG guides for different contribution bases.
Salary Calculator Philippines: frequently asked questions
What is the difference between gross salary and take-home pay?
Gross salary is your pay before statutory contributions, withholding tax and other deductions. Take-home or net pay is the amount left after the deductions included in the calculation.
What deductions does the PaycheckPH salary calculator include?
The calculator estimates employee-side SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG contributions together with Philippine withholding tax based on the inputs and assumptions built into the tool.
Are allowances included in taxable income?
Some allowances and benefits can be taxable while others may be exempt or subject to limits. Enter only amounts you reasonably expect to form part of taxable monthly compensation, and check your payslip or current BIR rules for your exact case.
Why can the estimate differ from my actual payslip?
Actual payroll can differ because of payroll cutoffs, contribution bases, taxable and non-taxable benefits, bonuses, previous-period adjustments, employer policies and rounding. Use the result as an estimate rather than an official payroll statement.
Can minimum wage earners use this calculator?
Yes, but minimum-wage tax treatment depends on whether you actually qualify as a Minimum Wage Earner under current Philippine rules. Use the MWE option only when the statutory minimum wage applicable to your region and employment category applies to you.
Can I use the calculator to compare a job offer?
Yes. Enter the proposed monthly basic salary and expected taxable allowances to get an estimated monthly take-home figure, then compare that result with your current package and other benefits.
