Estimate your 13th month pay
Enter your basic salary for each month. The calculator adds your basic salary actually earned and divides the total by 12.
DOLE's 2025 advisory states that the minimum 13th-month pay is one-twelfth of the employee's total basic salary earned during the year. Certain non-basic benefits may be excluded from the statutory base, subject to the applicable rules and company policy.

How 13th month pay is computed
The core formula is simple: total basic salary actually earned during the calendar year divided by 12. Month-by-month inputs are useful when salary changed, employment began partway through the year, or there were months with no basic salary earned.
Do not automatically use total gross compensation. Overtime, premium pay, night differential, holiday pay and many allowances are generally outside the statutory basic-salary base unless they are treated as part of basic salary under the applicable agreement, policy or practice.

Four ways to use the monthly inputs
- Full year: ₱30,000 basic salary in all 12 months gives ₱360,000 ÷ 12 = ₱30,000.
- Started in July: enter zero for January through June and ₱30,000 for July through December. ₱180,000 ÷ 12 = ₱15,000.
- Salary increased: six months at ₱25,000 and six at ₱30,000 gives (₱150,000 + ₱180,000) ÷ 12 = ₱27,500.
- Resigned after March: if ₱30,000 basic salary was earned in each of the first three months, ₱90,000 ÷ 12 = ₱7,500, potentially included in final pay.
Enter basic salary actually earned for each month, including any partial month. Overtime, holiday premiums and allowances are generally excluded unless an agreement or established policy treats them as basic salary. See coverage and exceptions.
13th Month Pay Calculator Philippines: frequently asked questions
What is the 13th month pay formula in the Philippines?
The statutory minimum is generally one-twelfth of the total basic salary actually earned by the employee during the calendar year. PaycheckPH therefore adds the monthly basic salary amounts you enter and divides the total by 12.
Am I entitled to prorated 13th month pay if I resign?
A qualifying rank-and-file employee who resigns or whose employment ends before the usual payment date can still have a proportionate 13th-month amount based on basic salary actually earned during the calendar year.
Are overtime, night differential and holiday pay included in the 13th month computation?
They are generally not part of the statutory basic-salary base unless the payment is treated as part of basic salary under an individual or collective agreement, company practice or policy. Enter basic salary rather than simply copying total gross pay.
Are allowances included in 13th month pay?
Allowances and monetary benefits that are not integrated into regular or basic salary are generally excluded from the statutory base. Classification can depend on the nature of the payment and the applicable agreement or company practice.

When is 13th month pay normally paid?
The statutory 13th-month benefit is generally due not later than December 24. Employees whose employment ends earlier can have a proportionate amount included in amounts due upon separation.
